A Monologue For Three (featuring Danny Pudi)

We first met Danny Pudi three years ago when we performed with his sketch group ‘Siblings of Doctors’ at the 2008 San Francisco Sketchfest. It was the first time we had ever performed live as BriTANicK and we were so nervous our eyeballs were vibrating.

Danny, along with the other members of the group, Rasika Mathur and Ranjit Souri, talked to us like they were inspirational football coaches (in a movie that still gives me goosebumps). They were unbelievably nice and supportive and we had a fantastic time performing with them. It was the best welcome to the comedy world we could have received.

If you have not yet watched him on ‘Community’, you need to get on that and introduce a whole boatload of laughter into your life.

———————-Joke I Love From An Earlier Draft—————————

Brian: Nick, none of this is Shakespeare.

Nick: Ohhh. (then, doing a Gilbert Gottfried impression) Look at this! I’m so ticked off that I’m molting!

Brian: That’s Iago.

Nick: Yeah! From Shakespeare’s Othello.

Brian: From Disney’s Aladdin. And WE’RE DOING MIDSUMMER!
